SŽ – Infrastruktura, d. o. o., provides traction electricity to RUs which operate electrified train services on public rail infrastructure. Traction electricity is provided in a non-discriminatory manner to all RUs which require 3000V DC overhead supply to power their trains.
The amount of electricity consumed is calculated by way of on-train metering in line with the applicable standards. Consumption data is transmitted via a mobile network to the traction electricity charging system of the Infrastructure Manager.
RUs are invited to consult with us on all aspects of traction electricity supply.
We also provide electricity for train heating and air-conditioning and supply power to stations and facilities.
